I love and miss you so much bro. Words cannot even explain the emptiness I feel inside. The only thing that gives me peace is to know you're not hurting no more. My whole life we have been together. I don't know how I'm going to get through life without you. I know you're in Heaven looking down on us all. I hope you can see now how much you were loved by everyone. How truly missed you are. I will miss out talks, your laughter, your smile, your corny jokes. Everything about you. The hole in my heart will never heal, but I know one day I will see you again. I love you Richard always have and always will.

I tried pushing off writing on here as long as possible because when I write on here then it really means your gone..you were like a second dad to me whenever my dad wasn’t around I could count on you and you have no idea how much that will forever mean to me you were the most caring and nicest person I know and no matter what you were always there for me and you were definitely taken to soon but you will never be forgotten and I promise to do everything I can to be half the person you were and take care of grandma I love and miss you so much and I know you’re looking down on all of us because I’ve been seeing butterflies everywhere I go I’ll miss you so much uncle Richard thank you for everything you have done for me and my momma I love you..

Richard and I were great friends for over twenty years. Mike and josh started to school in lady smith. That’s how rich and first met. I would go to Florida and we would spend a couple of weeks together before I came back to Virginia. He was a great cook and a better friend. I will truly miss him and the times that we shared. I know he loved his boys and his grandkids. I know rich believed in the Lord because we use to talk about God and what life was going to be like in the presence of God. I can only sat that he was taken way to young and I loved him like a brother.
