Frances Estelle Sills Griffin, 82, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 after a yearlong struggle after a stroke.
She was one of seven children to Francis Philip Sills and Sarah Lucile Caren Sills. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters Jane Moye, Jean Busby, and Helen Lowe, by her brother David Sills, and by her son Scott Griffin.
She is survived by her son Robert Griffin, sister Nancy Powell (John), brother Ed Sills (Phyllis), and granddaughter Jessica Griffin.
Fran loved her animals and was known to take care of any strays that she found. She also loved flowers, reading, the color yellow, and the beach.
At this time no celebration of life has been scheduled.
