Ronald J. Kronbach, age 73, of Yulee, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday morning , October 14th 2021 at the Warner Hospice Center in Fernandina Beach, FL., after struggling with a long battle of injuries due to a motorcycle accident. Born in Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York. He was one of six children born of the late Julius and Margaret Mary Sweeney Kronbach. He graduated from Patchogue High School in 1967. After High School, he worked in the local Hills Grocery Store; then worked with his Dad as a Steamfitter. He re-located to Florida in the early 1970’s when his Dad retired. He then worked at Rayonier Paper Mill over 20 years before retiring. In his early years, he enjoyed spending time with his friends at the YMCA, playing pool , being on the water - whether it was boating, water skiing or fishing, He always loved the water while he continued enjoying it for the many years living in Florida. He also enjoyed riding and touring on his motorcycle, visiting with family and friends and going out to eat. Ron was a member of the Journey Church in Fernandina where he truly fulfilled his purpose in life. When The Journey Outreach Pantry opened, Ron volunteered for 8 plus years driving and picking up and delivering food. He loved serving others whether it was just talking friendly, serving food or giving rides to those in need. He was a caring, humble, kind and generous faithful servant. His legacy will live on in the minds and hearts of everyone he interacted with as well as those he had touched but never met. In additions to his Parents, he is preceded in death by his devoted wife Virginia Landrum Kronbach, and brother, Henry R. Kronbach. He leaves behind 2 daughters, Janelle Conn and her husband Rusty of Green Cove Springs FL., Tricia Willis and her husband Ronald of St Marys Ga.; 3 Brothers, George Kronbach of Yulee FL., Lawrence Kronbach of Middleburg FL., Julius D. Kronbach of Abilene Texas; a sister, Patricia M Link of Switzerland FL. 3 Grandchildren, Preston Willis, Dylan Conn and Dalton Conn; 3 Stepchildren, James (Jimbo) Landrum, Carl (Bubba) Landrum and Melanie Landrum; numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren; and his faithful companion, his dog, Otis. His cremation arrangements are being handled by Eternity Cremations of Nassau. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2021 from 1-3 PM at his place of residence.
