Obituary of Liane Hilary Dalton

In Loving Memory of Liane Hilary Dalton, 1986 to 2021 Liane Hilary Dalton, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel (St. Peter’s Parish) located at 185 Hudson View Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY. The family also plans to have a celebration of life service in Naples, FL this coming spring. Liane was born on January 18, 1986 in Naples, FL to Earnest Ray Dalton, Jr. and Stacey Killmer Dalton. She went to Lely High School in Naples, graduating in 2004, and earned her Associates degree at Edison Community College. Liane most recently worked for Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her brothers, Earnest Ray Dalton, III of Naples, FL; Augustus DeStefano of Matthews, NC; and Chris Dalton (Lynn) of Nags Head, NC; her sister, Brooke Dalton-Belford (Rich) of Mt. Sterling, KY; her mother, Stacey A. Killmer DeStefano of Matthews, NC; her grandmother, Joan H. Killmer of Poughkeepsie, NY; her aunt, Vanessa Hamedl (Rich) of Poughkeepsie, NY; her uncle, Peter D. Killmer (Nicole) of Berea, OH; and three cousins. Liane was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Ray Dalton, Jr. in 2004, both of her paternal grandparents, and her maternal grandfather, Irving Peter Killmer in 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org or The Humane Society of the United States at humanesociety.org. Liane was loved by everyone she knew and the family wishes to thank all who have reached out with messages of love and support.
