Obituary of Keith Allen Stubblefield

Keith Allen Stubblefield, long-term resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida, passed away on September 25th, 2022. Born October 9th, 1957, in Herrin, Illinois, to Roy and Myrtle (Camp) Stubblefield, Keith grew up in West Frankfort, Illinois, where he graduated from West Frankfort Community High School and attended Rend Lake College. In addition to being proceeded in death by both his parents, Keith was also proceeded in death by his brother Stanley (Louise) Stubblefield and sister Joyce (Ron) Dougherty as well as in-laws Clifford and Neva Field and Tom Raymond. Keith is survived by his wife Rebecca (Field) Stubblefield and his daughter Chelsea Danielle Stubblefield, whom he loved fiercely, his brother Richard (Sue) Stubblefield, as well as his in-laws Vicky Raymond, Paul Field, Marlene Field, and Barbara and Brett Dunston. Keith was also blessed with many nieces and nephews whom he cared for very much. Keith was known for his extraordinary wit and sense of humor, outgoing personality who never met a stranger, his outspokeness, and above all, his kind, compassionate heart, always willing to help a friend or stranger in need. Keith was a hard-working, intelligent, and talented man who persevered through every trial life threw his way. Most importantly, Keith trusted in the LORD Jesus Christ with all his heart and soul as His personal Lord and Savior. Per Keith's wishes, he will be cremated, and his ashes scattered in the Atlantic Ocean and at his parents’ gravesite. Keith will be missed by his family and many friends, but for those who know Jesus, we trust that we will be reunited forever and eternally.
