On April 15, 2023 Walter Guillermo Pereira passed away while he slept. A native from Los Angeles Ca., he moved to Jacksonville Fl., to add a new adventure to his life. Having graduated from Cathedral HS in Los Angeles, he went on to attend Pomona College where he ran cross country, was a radio DJ at KSPC 88.7 Claremont, and travelled abroad to France to immersed himself in French culture. While studying in France he backpacked through Europe for a month, and enjoyed meeting people. Both his parents from Nicaragua have passed, and he is survived by his brother N. Pereira in Los Angeles, and his sister V. Tipps and brother-in-law D. Tipps. For those who knew Walter, say a prayer for him, for he is now Resting in Peace. Walter will be missed by his friends and his family, but never forgotten. RIP Wally. We love my brother.
