Obituary of Nicholas Reginald Slaughter
Please share a memory of Nicholas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nicholas (Nick) Slaughter, who left us on June 20th, 2023.
He was a father of two, a loving widow of his late wife Jean, a caring Uncle, and a man who found solace in the company of friends at the bar.
Nick was a man whose early zest for life and charismatic presence drew people toward him. Nick's love for his friends overflowed, and he was there to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear for many. His early education degrees included Danville High School and University of Illinois at which he received a Masters Degree in Spanish followed by a career in Sales. He loved the L.A Lakers, his time in Spain, many tasty beverages and memories of Ian and Myles baseball games.
He ultimately lost his fight with his health and cancer took his life at the age of 70.
Nick will be missed and not forgotten as a father and friend to many. At this time, we ask for you to reach out to friends who may have known him to celebrate his life, share conversations and pray he is resting peacefully in heaven.
