Q: What did Roger like to do in their free time?
A: Roger loved the old music of the 50s and 60s. He loved meeting his friends and dancing to the oldies at 57 Heaven.

Roger loved my mother Betty dearly. They were 6 years apart and he would tell me how she carried him around as a baby. We shared a love of music and when he was young he worked partime as a usher at the Jax coliseum and i would see him at rock concerts hoping he would not say anything to my mom, but he was cool. In his latter years I would vist and put new strings on his guitar. We also shared our hope of a resurrection to a time of perfect health and endless life be it in heaven or in a restored paradise on earth.
Roger was a humble, kind, and loveable guy. I will trully miss visting my cuz Roger, reminiscing and playing guitar. Sorry for your loss Nancy, and to all the family.

Back in the 60's, Cool cousin Roger, wife Suzie, and daughter Nancy lived just a few blocks from my immediate family on Green Street in the Murray Hill area of Jacksonville, FL. When my brother Dan and I turned 16, got our drivers license, we began dating young ladies. Roger owned 2 very cool Chevy Corsairs, and a number of times he lent us his Corsairs for our dating pleasure.
Roger was also a huge Elvis fan, and could astutely mimic Elvis's voice. Such a cool older cousin to have growing up. Roger was dearly loved and will be missed. Thanks for the fond memories Roger. Our heartfelt sympathy to you Nancy at the loss of your kind Father.
Love, Roland Kerby

Roger was the best neighbor anyone could have! Every morning and afternoon, I find myself looking for him to say as he always did to me--"Hey Momma!" Rest in Heaven Roger. You are deeply missed by your neighbors and friends and your adopted grandson Carter Waller
